Please note that parking near the docks will be extremely busy. We would recommend taking one of the sustainable travel options below for the best experience.

TRAVEL OPTIONS

There's lots of ways to get to Tall Ships Festival. We've gathered here some advice on the best (and greenest) ways to get to us. It's worth noting that Tall Ships Festival is a very popular event, and parking can be difficult, so we would recommend you spend some time planning your journey in advance so you can get to us in a comfortable way. Make sure to leave extra time for your journey as the centre of Gloucester will be extremely busy. We would recommend public transport or active travel options over taking the car, if possible, as that way you won't need to think about parking.

Check out GWR's dedicate Tall Ships Festival page for more info on booking your train tickets.

From Gloucester Station you can either enjoy a sunny stroll through Gloucester's historic city centre or jump on a dedicated Stagecoach shuttle bus to take you to the festival site. Check out Stagecoach's Shuttle Bus Schedule here.
