On Saturday, Gloucester Docks will be packed with activities, music and maritime adventure for all the family.
Head for Orchard Square or Victoria Dock to see the best of the region’s music artists, or catch amazing walkabout performers in Mariner’s Square, which is also home to our children’s activities area, with the Captain Barnacle Puppet Show, arts and crafts, ship making workshops, land yacht racing and water ship racing.
On the water, The Canal & River Trust will be putting on 45-minute boat trips which will run from the National Waterways Museum. Have a go at paddleboarding or canoeing with Discover Paddling or take a skippered trip with Gloucester Boat Hire will be offering skippered trips around the docks.
At the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, there will be children’s arts, crafts and sticker hunts and from 2pm you can also catch some live music.
